tautanz natural soap bars are handmade by experienced pharmacists in Portugal using an artisan cold-press method. This process preserves the properties of raw materials and is the most traditional and sustainable way of producing soaps.

They are all-natural and pH-balanced with no artificial perfumes, preservatives, or added colors.

Our robes are handmade by a small manufacturer near Guimarães in Portugal.

The linen yarn for our robes comes from a family-owned company near Lille in the North of France, founded in 1778. They value tradition and innovation to produce premium yarn in an eco-friendly way. Their linen yarn conforms with the highest quality standards and is certified with the MASTERS OF LINEN®, EUROPEAN FLAX® & OEKO-TEX® certificates.

Honoring the unique qualities of linen, the linen fabric used for our robes is neither dyed nor stonewashed, eliminating chemical treatments and reducing water waste in the production process.

Every robe comes with a natural linen travel bag, making our packaging plastic-free.

Size & Fit

The robe has a comfortable, loose fit. Tied along waist with a linen belt, it creates an elegant feminine style. It has two side pockets.

Use & Care

We recommend washing the robe cold. It can be machine-washed on a sensitive program at max. 30 degrees. Since this is a natural fabric, we suggest to only use ecologic washing detergents. Using chemical detergent could result in a slight bleaching effect and weaken the structure of the fabric.  

Due to its natural, untreated origin, the robe will shrink by ca. 10% during the first washing process. 

Linen naturally dries fast. Air-dry the robe on a clothes hanger so it dries without wrinkling. If you wish, you can iron the robe at a low temperature.

Enjoy the robe every day. You will notice that the fabric softens the more you wear it. One of the beautiful characteristics of linen is that the fabric is very durable yet luxuriously smooth, making it a timeless piece that will last forever.
